Devín Castle is situated at the periphery of Bratislava, at the meeting of two rivers, the Danube and the Morava, which form the boundary between Slovakia and Austria. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about its history and about unique nature around it. Below the castle, we will see the place where The Iron Curtain used to be. It is also the place where people tried to escape the regime, often unsuccessfully, which commemorates the monument situated at the bank of the river. At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to taste local redcurrant wine.

Wine has been the main export product of Bratislava during centuries. The Old Town and the Castle were surrounded by vineyards. Many winemakers and wine sellers lived in the same houses where the wine was stored. Thanks to that we have preserved rich tradition of winemaking and also a lot of hidden wine cellars. On this tour you will learn not only about the history of Bratislava but also about local tradition of winemaking, its selling and storing. After discovering historical cellars we will end our tour with wine-tasting of high-quality Slovak wines.
