Courses before the Gathering

4 countries, 4 languages, 4 crash courses – right before the Gathering!

A special opportunity for the Polyglot Gathering 2019 participants!

Are you coming over to the Gathering and have the option of getting here a bit earlier? Would you like to participate in a crash course for a few days before the event? In case you answered yes to both of the above, we’ve got you covered!

We’ve prepared four crash courses of four languages in four different countries before the Polyglot Gathering even starts. Giving you the option of coming over on Saturday already (full 4 days before PG2019) and practice the language of your choice.

Available courses:

  1. Slovak – Bratislava (Slovakia)
  2. Czech – Brno (Czech Republic)
  3. German – Vienna (Austria)
  4. Hungarian – Győr (Hungary)

All four courses will be lead by professional teachers of the given language – who will also be participating in the Polyglot Gathering 2019 (as they’ve also done in the past.).

Sign up for the course that’s tickled your fancy using the links below, which will take you to the respective website of an institute that’s agreed to provide the course, where you will find further details about it. All further communication regarding the courses will take place between you and the institute as the Polyglot Gathering team is not responsible for the courses themselves, our aim is to provide you with the option of getting here sooner and making use of that time by learning a new language or getting better at it. As you can imagine, the location of the Gathering is ideal for offering exactly that as Brno, Győr and Vienna are all in neighboring countries and all three are very close by (1 hour to get to Vienna or Győr and 2 hours for Brno) – therefore getting back to Bratislava for PG won’t be a problem at all!

Links to the courses which will take place Sunday (26.5.2019) through Wednesday (29.5.2019):

  1. Slovak – Bratislava (Slovakia): information in Slovak / information in English
  2. Czech – Brno (Czech Republic)
